The Design Process

For this specific batch of safety awards, we went with a thick, premium clear acrylic base. The edges were diamond-polished. If you’ve never seen diamond-polished acrylic before, it basically means the edges catch the light and shine just like a cut diamond. It instantly makes the award feel heavy and expensive in your hands.

We used precision laser engraving to etch the ArcelorMittal logo and the safety achievement details directly into the back of the acrylic. This creates a really cool 3D depth effect when you look at it from the front.
